Now, I’m not crazy about Valentine’s day ma-bob! However, I do enjoy it since it is my dad’s birthday 😀 Although, I do like a little romance such as a steamy, passionate, good felt book and a romance movie ❤
So, in the honor of the fat baby who shoots everyone, I will give my recommendations of the books and movies that will make you feel the love!
Nocturne brought me to tears! I absolutely love this book. Syrie James did a beautiful job writting this love story between Michael and Nicole. This book maybe fantasy but it felt real, you feel the love they had for each other. I wouldn’t dare spoil anything but saying what happens in the book, this is abook worth reading and rereading time and time again. I love it, can’t get it out of my head of how wonderful it was!
When Nicole Whitcomb’s car runs off a Colorado mountain road during a blinding snowstorm, she is saved from death by a handsome, fascinating, and enigmatic stranger.Snowbound with him for days in his beautiful home high in the Rockies, she finds herself powerfully attracted to him. But there are things about him that mystify her, filling her with apprehension.
Who is Michael Tyler? Why does he live alone in such a secluded spot and guard his private life so carefully? What secret–or secrets–is he hiding?
Nicole has secrets of her own and a past she is running from–but Michael understands her better than anyone she has ever known. Soon, she is falling as deeply in love with him as he is with her–a profoundly meaningful experience that is destined to change their lives forever.
As the sexual tension between them builds, however, the clues mount up. When Nicole learns her host’s terrifying secret, there is nowhere for her to run but into the blizzard raging outside, and Michael may be the only one who can save her life
Andie Miller is ready to move on in life. She wants to marry her fiancé and leave behind everything in her past, especially her ex-husband, North Archer. But when Andie tries to gain closure with him, he asks one final favor of her before they go their separate ways forever. A very distant cousin of his has died and left North as the guardian of two orphans who have driven out three nannies already, and things are getting worse. He needs a very special person to take care of the situation and he knows Andie can handle anything.
When Andie meets the two children she quickly realizes things are much worse than she feared. The place is a mess, the children, Carter and Alice, aren’t your average delinquents, and the creepy old house where they live is being run by the worst housekeeper since Mrs. Danvers. What’s worse, Andie’s fiancé thinks this is all a plan by North to get Andie back, and he may be right. Andie’s dreams have been haunted by North since she arrived at the old house. And that’s not the only haunting.
What follows is a hilarious adventure in exorcism, including a self-doubting parapsychologist, an annoyed medium, her Tarot-card reading mother, an avenging ex-mother-in-law, and, of course, her jealous fiancé. And just when she thinks things couldn’t get more complicated, North shows up on the doorstep making her wonder if maybe this time things could be different between them.
If Andie can just get rid of all the guests and ghosts, she’s pretty sure she can save the kids, and herself, from the past. But fate might just have another thing in mind…

My first series from Jayne Ann Krentz. I fell in love with this book! Modern version of Romeo & Juliet;
Hannah Harte and Rafe Madison are from two families that have hated each other for two generations, their grandparents and their parents, now they’re expected to feel the same way. However they feel anything but.

Hannah, a responsible, over-achiever teenager she notices she wasn’t alone. Rafe Madison, the town’s bad boy with a known reputation, appears from the dark having a bad night as well. He gladly walks Hannah home and share a moment and glad that their night ended with them.
The next morning Hannah wakes up to the police in her house. She learns that a very popular young girl was found dead off a cliff and she so happens to be Rafe’s ex- girlfriend. Hannah realizes that Rafe was the last person to have been seen with her which makes him an instant suspect. Hannah proved an alibi for Rafe, admitting that he was with her that night. Rumors and speculations run all over town that the two kids of the famous rivals were together when a dead body appeared. Rafe thanks Hannah and they both know that hatred they should feel is replaced with something they can’t explain.
Years pass, Hannah and Rafe are forced to reunite by Hannah’s aunt’s will. Her aunt leaves both of them her house, size of a mansion, and they must decide what to do. Hannah willing to pay for his half, Rafe refuses. Now, with a history that has lasted generations and a mystery they happen when they last saw each other still larks in the small town.
Reunited, Rafe and Hannah learn about each other and that feeling they both felt that night so long ago has grown.
I loved this book and have read it many times! You will be on the edge of your sit!
What drew me to this novel was the fact that I love Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare, but hate reading it, and it took place in present time. Trying to interpret what Shakespeare was trying to say was a headache. But the overall story, I love it!
Anne Fortier is my literature hero!
Now I see Romeo & Juliet in a whole new light!
Julie Jacobs is our heroine, a 25 year old woman with a twin named Janice who unlike herself is selfish, rude, beautiful, reckless and pretty much mades Julie’s life hell. When their mother dies very young in a car crash in Siena, Italy, their Aunt Rose takes in them in at the age of 3 and raises them. Without knowledge of their family historysince their Aunt never talked about it, they received news that their Aunt rose has unexpectedly passed away. Leaving everything to her sister and only gets a letter and a ticket to go to Siena, Italy where her parents meet, married and died. The letter also revealed that her name isn’t Julie Jacobs but Guillieta Tomolemi. A decendant from Guillieta Tomolemi who was inspired Shakespeare’s Juliet.
without nothing to lose she tells one person her plans and that is their butler Umberto, who has been with Aunt Rose for as long as she could remember. with his in couragement and warning she leaves. before arriving she meets a woman named Eva Maria. As soon as Julie uses her birth name Guillieta Eva Maria says her family is very famous in Siena, and she knows a lot of stories as well
Eva Maria’s Godson Alessandra arrives to pick up his godmother when Guillieta and him meet, not pleasant welcoming to say the least, but he stays polite infront of Eva Maria.
You then get taken back in time to 1340 where the real Romeo & Guillieta meet. Present Guillieta finds a box her mother had left for her to find and brake a curse that has been going on for six hundred years, and it the why she was killed. Alessandro not too happy with Guillieta, he tells her so, begins to help her for she has been chased by a man with a gun around city.
I don’t want to give too much away because a lot and I mean a lot happens in the novel that make my head spin! I started out slow but it recovered real quick. I absolutely enjoyed this Romeo & Juliet tale! Anne Fortier is incredible writer and I applause her with her work! A must read!
