Humanity unites and creates Jaegers, giant robotic weapons that are controlled by two pilots whose minds are linked, the stronger the bond the better it fights.

I loved how in the very beginning of the film it explained why certain things were created and the history of the Kaiju. There was action in the beginning and grabbed your full attention.

Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba) commander of the Jaegars must prepare his greatest  fighters and that takes him to a former pilot. Idris Elba CAN PLAY ANYTHING! Honestly this man is amazing!

Raleigh Becket (Charlie Hunnam) a  former pilot is approached and asked to join the fight. Raleigh has been long gone from the Jaegers and it conflicted about returning, but the human race depends on it. Now, let’s take a moment to admire and drool…

well worth it!Okay, other than he’s hotness, he did a pretty good job! His acting wasn’t forced or over acted, and his fighting scene was awesome!

Mako Mori ( Rinko Kikuchi) is teamed up with Raleigh, and to just point this out THIS CHICK KICKED ASS!! She was surprising and honestly cried in certain scenes that involved her.

Dr.Newt Geiszler (Charlie Day) and Dr. Herman Gottlied ( Burn Gorman) are two very intelligent men who are trying to figure out a way to close the portal and destroy Kaiju permanently. They both brought humor and worked well together.

Pacific Rim was amazing and a must watch in the movie theater! F.Y.I it suitable for young kids, if they liked Transformers or monster movies they’ll enjoy this one.
