The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Movie Review!

The Mortal Instruments City of Bones Movie

Just got home from watching The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones…OMG!!!! Must talk about it! It was like reading the book again, that’s how true it is to it. So for the once who haven’t read the book, the story is about a girl name Clary who witness a murder in a club. Not only does she see the murder, she’s the only one that can see the people who committed it.

They’re called Shadowhunters, keepers of the those horror stories us “Mundanes” tell each other. It is revealed that Clary was being protected from this world from her mother Jocelyn, who was a shadowhunter. With the help of the shadowhunters in the club, Jace, she seeks answers and a way to get her mother back from a man who has taken her, Valentine.

Clary, trying to wrap her head around this new world that has been hidden from her, has to save her mother, begins to fall for Jace while her bestfriend Simon gets his heart broken, oh and demons attack her. That’s pretty intense! It was action, humor, jumps, angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, I mean come on, what’s more awesome!

The actors were PERFECT!!

Jemima West- Isabelle Lightwood

Robert Sheehan- Simon Lewis

Lily Collins- Clary Fray

Jamie Campbell-Bower- Jace Wayland

Kevin Zegers- Alec Lightwood

I couldn’t picture anybody better! Magnus, Luke, Jocelyn, Valentine, Hodge, Dorothea, oh goodness they were incredible! I won’t spoil anything just GO SEE IT! The best adaption I’ve seen in a long long time!!

City of Ashes, begin filming in September!
