November 24, 2010, Disney finally gave us a Rapunzel movie! Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) was born with a gift, her hair tends to glow when she sings, as well as heal. Mother Gothel (Donna Murphy) kidnaps Rapunzel from a beloved King and Queen and raise her as her own, only to use her power of staying young forever. Kept and locked away in a tower for 18 years.
Rapunzel, turns 18 and wants nothing more than to see the floating lights. Lanterns that are presented for the lost princess. With her so called “mother” forbids Rapunzel of leaving the tower, someone abruptly appears inside the tower. Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) a criminal on the run finds the tower and thinks its a good hiding spot.
Rapunzel learns a little about Flynn and asks him to take her to see the lanterns and return before her mother finds out. Having no other choice, Flynn agrees.
Having lived her whole life locked in the tower, Rapunzel finds herself in this great adventurer and falls in love with Flynn. But her mother finds out and hunts her down and tricks her that Flynn is nothing more than a liar. With their love and friends, Flynn and Rapunzel find each other and she returns home, her real home with her mother and father, the King and Queen.
