Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: S.O.S Season Finale Episode Review! (Spoiler Free)

Last night was the epic 2- hour season finale of S.H.I.E.L.D and man oh man was I on the edge of my seat, through the whole thing!

Spoiler free review, if you haven’t yet seen it!

Last week, Jiaying (Dichen Lachman) declared war on Shield, claiming that Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) had shot her. Jiaying is one crazy, manipulative bitch, let me tell you!

Skye, of course, seeing her mother dying from a gun shot wound, defends her. The fight sequence between Skye and May remind me of Anakin and Obi-wan in the Revenge of the Sith. It was so awesome how May knew every move Skye would make, considering she’s the one that trained her. However, Skye has her new powers, that was no match her May.

Coulson knows that Jiaying must be behind all of this, but a new problem surfaces. Bobbi is missing and they quickly learn that Agent 33 is behind it. May and Hunter team up to locate Bobbi, while Coulson, Simmons and Fitz stay behind and manage to handle Jiaying and her people, the very people with special abilities.

Jiaying is confident that her people will fight with her against Shield, even Skye/Daisy. Skye confused by Shield’s attack on the Inhumans, so she tries to find answers from Raina. Raina reveals that Jiaying isn’t as good as Skye believes.

The torture scene with Bobbi had me cringing! Agent 33, not only kidnapped Bobbi but took her to her psycho boyfriend, Ward. Ward then trying to make Bobbi apologize to Agent 33. Yeah, sort of a twist intervention. Bobbi doesn’t brake! Then Ward brings out needles!

Every. scene. is. intense!

Fitz and Simmons…JESUS MARY AND JOSEPH! Since the first season I wanted them together and throughout this season it just intensified! When you think that Jemma is finally going to tell Fitz how she feels, Coulson announces they’re departure. We have to work on your timing Phil!

What I didn’t expect was how you feel a bit different towards Cal. Didn’t see that coming.

The fight sequences were badass! They definitely step it up from season 1.

This season finale was nothing what I thought it would be and just when you think it’s over, the last minute or so, you’re left screaming. I sure did!!

Other than The Walking Dead, this was by far one of the greatest season finale I’ve ever seen!

Agents of Shield returns in September!
